Best Way to Start Your Day
By nature, we are diurnal, meaning unlike creepy nocturnal animals like bats we are hardwired to be active during the day & sleep at night. However, even though we are born diurnal our bodies are still affected by outside influences. The strongest outside cue to get us up and moving is light — plain and simple. So, take advantage of sunshine or full-spectrum light sources. They are the best low-tech, inexpensive, and dependable ways to get energized in the morning. Why put it off? Don’t just pour yourself another cup of coffee — bring the lights up, open the shades, or go for a quick walk outside. DO IT NOW. And have a great day!
